Homecoming 2013 at Spalding University

Today I am excited to be traveling back to Louisville for Spalding's Homecoming events.  First, there is the celebration of recently published works, including the books of David Harrity, Charlotte Rains Dixon, Sandi Hutcheson, Chris Mattingly, Brittany K. Fonte, Ann Eskridge, and Loreen Niewenhuis.  Check out this link for profiles, author photos, and the full schedule: Celebration of Recently Published Books 2013.

Expect a review of one or more of these books very soon!

Also upcoming: interviews (it could be you) and submissions (join the conversation).

As always, thank you for reading,
jk

I love getting the flavor or Spalding reunion. Thanks, Jill.
The cover image of one of the recent pubs gives me pause--. Curious what my women's and gender studies undergraduates would think.

I'm looking forward to the conversation about submissions. Mags are springing up helter-skelter. And many of them are amazingly cool!

I love reading poems. I like think about nature and often write poem during seriousness.

Priscilla! Yes! Hello, and you are most welcome. I am a little late noticing this post, but I am glad you enjoyed it.

I would be curious to hear what your women and gender studies undergrads think of the cover in question as well. Maybe we could spark a debate.

Heather has started a zine and is encouraging me to, as well. Maybe she could speak to that. She just went to a zine fest.

Thanks for reading and commenting. Hope your writing is going well.
